1a) Session 1 Translations for Oral Drills

These are the drills seen on the DVDs.  It is recommended that you read these first before listening to the classroom dialogue. The answers and questions will vary for reasons of spontaneity.  Listen closely to both and listen again various times in order to fine tune your listening and comprehension skills.  You will hear the native speakers’ dialogue initially, followed by the instructor’s questions. Then you will have a chance to answer these same questions.  Follow this same format for every set of drills.Notice that the instructor will ask questions using different subjects and subject pronouns in order to give you examples of various verb forms.
