How much does this program cost?
Because of the
increasing demand for our services, there is an annual non-refundable ENROLLMENT FEE of $100 per class to “reserve” the classes. The
desired class time must be confirmed no later than July 31, 2012, or
else there might be the possibility that no Certified Spanish Teacher
will be available. There is a one-time charge for the materials which
can be used year after year, and a low-cost teacher charge for each
nine weeks, per class (four nine weeks in total). No refunds are
available on the enrollment fee.
PRICES FOR MATERIALS (ONE-TIME
PURCHASE ONLY)
If there are at
least 20 students in Spanish I or II, a set of 20 is the minimum
purchase required. If there are at least 15 students in Spanish I or
II, a set of 15 is required. If there are at least 10 students, a set
of 10 is required. Nothing below a set of 10 will be sold (no single
DVD sets may be purchased unless the minimum classroom set has been
purchased).
Each set of
materials ----set of 10, 15, or 20----consists of the same content,
just different amounts including: DVD sets, Student Workbooks, Weekly
Plans for both Spanish I and Spanish II, Exams for both Spanish I and
Spanish II, Exams with answer keys, Worksheets for both Spanish I and
Spanish II; “Ramiro” readings with activities for both Spanish I and
Spanish II; Games, Activities, and additional worksheets. The DVD
sets, Student Workbooks and Enrichment Activity Master Copies Folder
will be shipped via UPS to the school district. All other materials
will be emailed to the school each week in order for the school to
make copies for each student.
Also, new this
year, for each set of materials, a “site license” is included at
no additional cost. This
“online” component is in the developmental stage, and we will be
adding content as we proceed. This allows the students enrolled in
Spanish to use any and/or all “online” components of the distance
learning program which may include extra listening, reading, writing,
pronunciation, and conversational activities, worksheets from the
“Master” copies shipped to the school, and testing providing immediate
results to the student and administrator or monitor of the class.
